Manville's Psychotherapy Services

"I never had a friend until I came to Manville.
And I also learned how to keep them."
- Manville Graduate
Individualized planning is the cornerstone of Manville’s clinical service delivery to children and families. The clinician, in collaboration with the child’s Manville team, formulates specific clinical objectives and long-term goals. Each child’s clinical program includes a combination of individual work and group therapy, with evidence-based interventions being implemented whenever possible.
Manville’s group therapy program provides training experiences in social skills, communication effectiveness, and coping and problem-solving skills. Within the group context, children are taught to manage themselves and meet their social needs, while learning to consider others and develop skills for creating and maintaining relationships. Manville’s group therapy program includes the following:
- Social Skills and Problem-Solving
- Anger Management
- Depression and Social Anxiety Coping Skills
- Social Communication Groups
- Therapeutic Activity/Community Service Groups
