World of Children Celebration 2007
With genuine gratitude, we are thrilled to announce that the 2007 World of Children Celebration was the largest grossing event of its kind in the history of the Center! Our goal was a daunting $400,000, but with your kindness and overwhelming generosity we surpassed our goal. If not for the committed leadership of our Co-Chairs and a dedicated group of committee volunteers, this crowning achievement would not have been possible.
More than 500 guests brought the ballroom to life at the new Westin Boston Waterfront on November 17, 2007. Through the gracious hospitality of our honorees George and Andy Macomber and their remarkable family, the evening had the intimate feeling of a celebration held in their home. Attendees were even allowed a glimpse into the family’s private life, as cherished family photos were displayed during the award presentation. This all made for an evening we won’t soon forget!
