Judge Baker Children’s Center will honor the memory of its namesake, the Honorable Harvey Humphrey Baker, and celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Boston Juvenile Court by hosting a day-long symposium, “Treating Multi-Problem Youth: Expert Perspectives.”
The Symposium, co-sponsored by Massachusetts’ Department of Mental Health, Department of Social Services, and Department of Youth Services, will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at Harvard Medical School’s Conference Center. Read more

Judge Baker Children’s Center is proud to welcome a groundbreaking research project that may shed light on the inexplicable disorder of autism
Judge Baker’s Dr. Jerome Kagan and Dr. Nancy Snidman, in conjunction
with Dr. Martha Herbert from Mass General Hospital (MGH) and Dr. Katherine
Martien from MGH’s Ladders (Learning and Developmental Disabilities
Evaluation and Rehabilitation Services) Clinic, are beginning to study the
brain processing mechanisms in children with autism and young children at
risk for autism with the hope of gaining a better understanding of the disability.
