Director of Research/Harvard Professor of Psychology

Description:

Harvard University's Department of Psychology and the Judge Baker Children's Center, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, seek a senior scientist for a joint appointment as Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Director of Research at Judge Baker.

Essential Duties and Responibilities:

Duties will include research, teaching (graduate and undergraduate), and mentoring in the Department of Psychology, as well as directing and expanding the child and adolescent clinical research program at Judge Baker.

The ideal candidate will have a distinguished record of research on treatment of child or adolescent dysfunction in the disruptive, externalizing domain - preferably with an emphasis on research in clinical practice and/or school settings.

Requirements:

We seek an individual who will contribute to excellence in teaching and mentoring, maintain an active individual program of research, and lead multi-investigator collaborations in such forms as research centers, program projects, and networks.
