How You Can Support Judge Baker Children's Center
Since 1917, Judge Baker Children's Center has been working to improve the lives of children and families challenged with emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues. We are making advances in the field of research and advocacy as well as expanding the training and delivery of best practiced in children's mental health. We serve over ninety children per year in our Manville School, and our new Clinical Care program is helping many more children and families with out patient clinical services.
Every donation helps to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. Every contribution, whether monetary or voluntary is greatly appreciated.
Judge Baker Children's Center is a 501(c)(3) Organization.
All donations made to the Baker are tax deductible.
Judge Baker Children's Center has various special events throughout the year to bring in necessary funding for our programs. Each year we have a golf tournament, we also participate in the Rodman Ride for Kids cycling-event, and every two years we hold our World of Children Awards Celebration to honor individuals who have dedicated themselves to improving the world for children.
If you are looking to become involved with our special events, here are some ways you can help:

Volunteer Opportunities: Each year we need volunteers for our annual Golf Tournament, held in June, and to assist Team Baker during the Rodman Ride for Kids, in September. If you are interested in volunteering at one or both of these events, please contact Liz Fitzsimons at 617-278-4279.

Event Sponsorship: All of the Baker's events require corporate support to help us reach our goal. A gift of any size will make a great difference. Donate to a rider: Between the months of July and November, Team Baker will be looking for support as riders prepare to cycle in the Rodman Ride for Kids. Donations may be made online through our website or can be mailed to our office (53 Parker Hill Avenue, Boston MA 02120) checks should be made out to Rodman Ride for Kids/JBCC. Stay tuned for more information on the 2010 Rodman Ride!

Matching Gift
Many companies have a Matching Gift Program, which can increase the size of your gift to the Baker. Speak with your Human Resources Department to find out if this option is available to you and how it works. -

Denim Day to support the Baker
Denim Days are a great way to involve your employees in giving back to charitable organizations. Allow your employees to "dress down" and wear denim for one day, and pay a small donation fee to do so. These collected donations can be presented to the charity of your choosing- hopefully, the Baker!
