Stephen Schaffer joined Judge Baker Children’s Center in May of 2009. Prior to joining the Baker, Steve spent 20 years with Children’s Friend and Family Service, based in Salem, MA. There he served as Clinical Director and then as the organization’s President from 1992 to 2009. Prior to this, Steve worked as a clinician and clinical administrator in a variety of clinical and educational settings in the Boston area. At the very start of his career, Steve trained at Judge Baker Children’s Center as a social work intern.
Steve studied at Cornell University, Harvard University and Boston University School of Social Work, where he received his Masters of Social Work.
