After being named Controller in 2000, Anthony M. Bono was appointed Judge Baker Children’s Center’s Director of Finance in July 2002. In this leadership capacity, Mr. Bono calls upon his far-reaching expertise in the financial and non-profit worlds to ensure the solid fiscal development of Judge Baker. One of Mr. Bono’s strengths is his ability to combine financial knowledge with his strong commitment to philanthropic causes. Prior to assuming his roles at Judge Baker, he served as Chief Financial Officer for the Corporation for Business, Work, and Learning, a state quasi-public agency headquartered in Boston. Mr. Bono oversaw the comprehensive financial management of the agency, working with investments, cash management, and contract proposal budgets and negotiations. He has also served as Controller for the Education Development Center in Newton, MA, Chief Financial Officer of the Catholic Charitable Bureau of the Archdiocese of Boston, and Audit Manager for the federal government’s Department of Housing and Urban Development.
